Luke 15:1-3, 1-32

The characters of this parable, their actions and their words, must have made Jesus’ Jewish listeners uncomfortable if not downright angry. The central character in this parable is not the son, but the father. Jesus describes the love and mercy of God for his people in a most surprising and dramatic way.

Thank you for loving me completely and unconditionally. I do not deserve it. I am not worthy. But I am so grateful.
