Luke 15:3-7

Though the scribes and the Pharisees present themselves as holy people, their way is not God’s way. In the first of the three parables we are drawn into God’s mind and heart. Like the shepherd who seeks out the lost sheep and, once found, joyfully carries it back to the flock, God seeks out the sinner, leading all that have gone astray back to his fold.

You know me better then I know myself. No matter my weakness, my sin, you wait for me, you seek me, you welcome me.
