Matthew 18:1-5, 10, 12-14

The disciples ask Jesus who will be the greatest in God’s kingdom. He responds by pointing to a person without any social status, a child. Jesus goes on speaking about the sinner who has gone astray. Just as the shepherd seeks his lost sheep, the Father also seeks and welcomes the return of those lost to sin.

I praise and thank you for your abundant mercy. You look for me. You wait for me. You welcome me back.
