Luke 24:1-12

Seven readings lead the congregation through salvation history on this night of nights when heaven and earth intersect. In Luke’s Gospel, the women—Mary Magdalene, Joanna, and Mary the mother of James—testify to what has happened.

I cannot imagine how the disciples must have felt at the moment they realized what happened in light of what you had told them so many times, Lord. I am thankful for being able to see through the lens of the Resurrection.
